Residential Projects

Embrun Concrete Ltd. specializes in residential poured concrete foundations. We build foundations for new houses, additions or new foundation for existing houses. The site has to be dug to the specified elevations, the location of the new foundation pinned and any water removed at the bottom of the site before our team can start the work.

Different sizes & heights available.

Sump well liner

25 gallons are available to supply and install.

Floor Finishing

Smooth finish, broom finish or light broom finish.

Concrete Pump

Depending on the access and the proximity that a cement truck can reach the footings, a concrete pump might be necessary.

Windows

Different sizes are available from 32″x16″ to 56″x24″ egress. These windows are installed in the forms and the concrete is poured with the window frame in place. We always reinforce the window openings with rebar.

Rebar

We can supply and install rebar in footings, pads, walls at your request. We have 10M and 15M strength available.

Vapour Barrier

This thin (6 mil) transparent plastic film can be supplied and installed under basement or garage floors to prevent humidity to come up.

Drainage Layer

Membrane that is put on top of the dampproofing (tar) to help drain the water to the weeping tile. We can supply and install Roxul or Delta drainage layers.

Wire Mesh

This metal wire mesh is usually used to reinforce a garage floor or a porch. We can supply and install it at your request.

Fibermesh

Polypropylene fibers are added to the concrete mix to give the concrete floor more strength. We can add fibermesh to your garage floor or porch if requested.

Boom Truck Rental

We rent out our boom truck with operator for small lifting jobs. Please give us a couple days notice. A minimum of 4 hours (1 hour travel + 3 hours on site) is charged. It could be used for lifting beams or trusses for example.

Saw Cuts

We can do saw cuts on a garage floor. The cuts have to be done before 72 hours of the concrete pour for best results. By making saw cuts, the cracks will be controlled and will follow the saw cuts in a linear way instead of all over the place.
